Choose A Smartway Partner For Your Relocation
The SmartWay Transport Partnership joins the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the trucking industry in a voluntary effort that aims to reduce energy consumption and green house gas emissions from the transportation sector.
By 2012 The SmartWay Partnership will cut carbon emissions by 33-66 million tons per year, and nitrogen oxide emissions by 200,000 tons per year. It will save about 9 billion dollars in foreign oil imports and as much as 150 million barrels of oil annually.
The US Environmental Protection Agency has recognized SELECT VAN & STORAGE as a SmartWay partner along with companies such as Walmart, FedEX, UPS, and Union Pacific. Partners are chosen for their commitment to improve environmental performance by reducing harmful emissions, fuel consumption, and operating costs, while addressing national concerns of energy security, energy savings and environmental justice.
